Ready to ship! Gorgeous 4" succulent with subtle pink details.
Are succulents flowers or leaves? A botanist could tell you, but a sugar flower artist can make you your very own! This impressive gumpaste succulent is based on the hen-and-chick variety, and features handpainted pink and green detailing. There are over 25 petals (can we call them petals?) that are wired together so you can easily arrange this succulent onto your cake. At 4" wide, it's the perfect size to feature all on it's own, or to add in with other modern sugar flowers: peonies, ranunculus, david austin roses, anemones...
All orders are insured against shipping damages. Please contact me as soon as possible if your flowers are damaged, so that I can send you new ones ASAP! If you ever have any questions or concerns about your flowers, please call or e-mail me and I’m happy to help.
These flowers are made with edible gumpaste but do contain wires. Please do not eat the wired sugar flowers, and remove from the cake before serving.
Gumpaste can last for years if taken care of properly. Keep your flowers away from light, moisture, and heat to keep them preserved. Humidity and temperature changes from refrigeration may cause flowers to melt. Each order comes with a quick guide to proper sugar flower care.
I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Request a cancellation within: 1 hours of purchase

I am happy to make custom sugar flower orders for you! Custom orders start at $100. Please share with me your event date, the size of your cake, the colors you're using, any inspiration photos (bouquets, other cake photos, etc), and I'll work with you to create something unique. Throughout the process I'll share photos with you and update you before your order is carefully packaged and shipped to you. Custom orders take longer to create, so please order at least 4-6 weeks before your event.
Gumpaste flowers have an extremely long shelf life, due to their sugar content and low moisture. As long as the flowers are taken care of properly, they'll last for years! Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight (it can fade the colors) as well as extreme heat/cold, and especially out of humidity. Some refrigerators are very humid, and can cause the flowers to melt, so I recommend placing the flowers on your cake before serving. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Each flower arrives in a box suitable for storage and comes with a care guide.

Shipping takes about 3-5 days in the US via the Post Office with standard shipping. International shipping can take up to 6 weeks. Rush shipping is also available at checkout.
If you are concerned about your order arriving in time, please contact me with your event date to confirm that the flowers will arrive before your event.
Each flower is created by hand in small batches, so some differences may occur. Just like in nature, no two flowers are alike! Colors may vary slightly as well due to screen differences.
Sugar flowers are made with edible ingredients (gumpaste, egg whites, sugar) however they also contain non-edible materials such as wires which are used to hold the petals together and arrange the flowers. The wired flowers are not meant to be eaten, and should be removed prior to serving your cake.
Please contact me if you need a local pickup option. Pickup availability may depend on my schedule, I'll do my best to accommodate but I do have a day job ;)
I've shipped thousands of flowers since I started my shop so I've found the best ways to safely package your flowers with lots of padding and fragile stickers! I've had very few packages arrive damaged, however I can't guarantee the actions of the post office once I drop off your order.
I always recommend ordering far in advance to account for damage or delays, and to order extra flowers if you're in a time crunch just in case.
If your flowers were damaged beyond repair during shipping, please send photos of the damage ASAP so that replacement flowers or a refund can be processed for you. For minor damage, such as a broken petal, a tutorial on how to repair can be found on the Kelsie Cakes YouTube channel at bit.ly/kelsiecakesvideo
