From making "mudpies" with wildflowers as a kid, to crafting Sugar Flowers for over a decade, this has always been my passion.
I'm Kelsie Delisle– Sugar Flower Artist, business owner, wife, mom + wearer of many hats. With a toddler in tow, I intimately know the meaning of "so much to do, so little time." I work out of my Tampa, FL studio + ship flowers all over the world. When I’m not working, I’m either napping, playing outside with my son, or watching hockey with my husband.
(But probably napping.)

Choose your package + Book your order. Done! we can cross this one off the list.
Sit back and relax! No, seriously, I'm doing all the work from here on out. While I'm busting out gumpaste and studying real flowers for inspiration, you can take this sugary task off your to-do list.
Give your final approval. Before I ship the Sugar Flowers to you, I'll send you photos of what I've created. That way, we can make sure we're all on the same page, and I can make any small adjustments to exceed your expectations! Once you approve the design, you'll...
Wait for the happy mail! I prefer to ship custom orders out about 2 weeks before the event, giving you enough time to receive the order just in case there are any shipping delays, and you don't need to worry about storage or forgetting where you put your package (...or is that just something I do??)

It was a gorgeous addition to my grandmother's 100th birthday cake. The packaging was great and protected the flower to the day we used it. Very easy to attach to the cake. I followed all the directions given by the seller's video, regarding storage and application. Thanks again.
the best ways to safely package your flowers is with lots of padding and fragile stickers! I can't guarantee the actions of the post office once I drop off your order.
If your flowers were damaged beyond repair during shipping, you can contact me to file a claim. For minor damage, such as a broken petal, a tutorial on how to repair can be found on my Youtube channel.
Bend the flexible floral wire stem and lift the Sugar Flower out of the foam
Gently open up the petals for flowers that have individually wired petals
Keep the flowers out of direct sunlight (it can fade the colors) as well as extreme heat/cold, and especially out of humidity. Each flower arrives in a box suitable for storage and comes with a care guide.
Sugar Flowers are made with edible ingredients but also contain non-edible materials (wires, tape)
The wired flowers are not meant to be eaten, and should be removed prior to serving your cake.
The moisture of your refrigerator can affect the flowers. Place the flowers on the cake right before serving, or store your decorated cake inside a sealed cardboard box.
I still have the Sugar Flowers from my wedding 4 years ago, and I've heard of brides keeping their flowers for over 2 decades!
I recommend an acrylic display box (like the kind for sports memorabilia) that has UV protection.
I use a smoothie straw inserted into the cake, then place the wire into the straw. This is the least messy + easiest way to do it
Peace of mind.

I started Kelsie Cakes after working in the cake industry for a decade. I saw cake artists wanting high-quality Sugar Flowers for their cakes, but without time to create them. That's when I hung up my oven mitts to create botanically inspired, delicate-but-durable Sugar Flowers for passionate cake artists and flower lovers of all kinds. I'm here to craft your artistic vision to come to life.
xoxo,
