How can I make the most of the season?
I am not the person you want to talk to about time management or effective scheduling, if I’m being 100% honest with you. I’ve realized over the years (thanks in part to a therapist pointing out my ADHD) that my zone of genius isn’t in linear thinking, which often includes making schedules and routines.
But, creative thinking and definitely my zone of genius! So here are some creative ways I recommend staying on top of this busy fall wedding season—
- Make as many decorations in advance as you can. Things like fondant toppers and gumpaste flowers, and order non-edible cake toppers and decor ahead of time. Bonus: you won’t have to pay for rush shipping if you order now!
- Schedule your consultations and tastings on your quiet weeks. Maybe the week of October 20th *isn’t* the best time to book back-to-back tastings. You’ve got wedding cakes to bake!

Semi-custom sugar flowers for dates two weeks out
If you’ve got a little more time to spare, you can order a semi-custom design from my shop. They take a minimum of two weeks to create + shipping, but again, you’ll see all the available delivery dates at checkout. If I’m already booked out, then the dates will be closed. So you can always email me to confirm your date is available!
